Applied Informatics - Why this field
I've always been passionate about technology and programming. Studying IT allows me to explore my interests in depth. I've always been good with computers and everyone came to me if they had a tech-related problem. For me out of all the fields Applied Informatics was the obvious choice. - Expectations
I hope to gain a solid understanding of web developement, programming principles, develop practical skills, and contribute to innovative projects. I also hope to level up my teamwork as well as communication.

- ● Provided IT support to school staff, including hardware setup, software troubleshooting, and maintenance of tech equipment.
- ● Completed C/C++ courses at the Jagiellonian University with a final grade of 5 (equivalent to A).
- ● Managed a school shop at the age of 15.

- ● Founded and managed a gaming group of over 150 players.
- ● Created and edited 30+ YouTube videos as well as designing thumbnails for each of them.

I always liked building, and designing/coding is just like building! You can create whatever you can imagine. - Cooking
I recently started cooking for myself and I found out that I actually enjoy it. Being able to add whatever you want to your dish and make it as you like is great. Seeing the result and enjoying the taste is very fulfilling. - Motorcycles
My dad rode motorcycles since he was a teenager and that's how this passion was passed on to me. Now I have my own motorcycle and I ride it from time to time. - Gaming
Strategy, MMORPG, Battle Royale, Survival games are types of games I like to play with my friends. They are a great decelerator and can bring you a lot of joy.

- In my academic journey so far, I have demonstrated a strong commitment to learning and adapting to new challenges. By the time, I have successfully completed several hundred programming tasks and I am eager to build upon this foundation during my studies.

- I have earned over fifty medals in various handball tournaments, including international competitions for example in Italy, Spain, or Czech Republic. Despite me being younger than my teammates and counterparts, we secured the 7th position in national tournament. Throughout many matches, I contributed goals crucial to our victories.

With nine years of playing handball, it's not just a hobby but a defining passion. Teamwork and strategy not only converge on the court, shaping both skills, but also keeping me engaged and active. - Coding
Delving into the realms of design and coding allows me to transform imagination into reality. You can bring to life anything you can dream up, and that's what intrigues me the most. It's like art, where everyone can express themselves in their own unique way. - Gaming

My name is Piotr Szarek, I`m 20 years old. My godfather gave me a passion for computers and programming. When I was a kid he gave me my first computer and taught me, how to write simple games like snake. My goal is to create program that will help people in their normal life.

Sport cars were my passion since I was a small kid. When I was 10 years old my brother took me to a car show and I just loved it. My dream is to have a sports car in the future. My favourite one is Toyota Supra. - Books
I love fantasy and action books. My favourite writer is Mr. Sapkowski. I have read all parts of The Witcher and I am waiting for the next ones. - Games
Strategies, Battle Royales and Survivals are my favourite genres. When I was a kid I watched my brother playing video games and thats how it started. I always wanted to become a professional player.
